Salam
Muslims believe there is no difference between a person with deformed parts, or any challenge.
Allah has made all babies born innocent regardless,
Human beings all have tests in their lives and for a person given a challenge like a deformation or what have you this may be the test given to them that may get them into heaven incha'ALlah, if they persist with patience and try their hardest in life, and to the best of their abilities do what is incumbent upon them (prayers, giving charity etc). Muslims are taught to look to others less fortunate than them and be grateful, because there is always someone with a harder circumstance.
Beyond that muslims are also instructed to have good manners in dealing with others, gossip is a big sin that can lead us to hell so talking about or staring at a person with a dissability is a sin.
there is a saying in the qur'an,
"fa inna ma'al usri yusra, inna ma'al usri yusra"
verily after hardship there is ease, after hardship there is ease"
thats the best way I can translate it :D.
Allah has created us all equal and a muslim is instructed not to look down on anyone that has an uncontrollable circumstance ( in other words, race, poverty, dissability) for that person may infact be better than you are.
I hope i helped incha'Allah!
Excuse me skylolo what was it that was so "poor" about our responses? He asked us what we think, we answered him honestly, people are giving you quotes from the qur'an and this is the basis of our believes, equality as is stated.
So that means that the child is viewed as equal to a child without deformities, and anyone that thinks other than that is not with the right mentality and is a muslim oddity.
asking why you dont see any muslim childrens hospitals or where the money went is like a saudi sitting in mecca asking where all the catholic organizations are there because he just doesn't see them, I mean hey he knows some christians somewhere are raising money right..heck he sees the feed the children commercials where is the proof.
I don't know where you are living but if its not in a muslim country the chance of seeing these organizations are slim, as most of them are dedicated to overseas locations though charity is given out to those in need through the mosques of american to the needy muslims here ;)

Disabled every person is a blessing to be attentive to. do not enable a incapacity define your thinking. specific, it exchange right into a marvel. No, i don't desire we had made different possibilities. We had to evaluation plenty on the way. that's only it nevertheless, life is approximately gaining information of. As for coming to words with it each so often it relatively is basically something that happens alongside the way. You study to cherish the small steps, and study which you have your individual p.c.. & way of doing issues. It is unfortunate to have this happen, but they should be given the same rights to anything children born without disabilities are. They are to be loved and cherished, because all children are a gift. Peace.

Islam says
“...kill not your children on a plea of want; We provide sustenance for you and for them;” (Al-Qur’an 6:151)
“Kill not your children for fear of want: We shall provide sustenance for them as well as for you: verily the killing of them is a great sin.” (Al-Qur’an 17:31)
“Be sure We shall test you with something of fear and hunger some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil) but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere.” [Al Qur’an 2 :155]
