I have hair past my shoulders and I'm probably going to get a hair cut soon. Advice please.

keep it long. dont cut it to short thatll make ur face look longer. get it layered && bangz 2 the side. it would b very cute. lol.

i have an oval face an had long hair for a long time (about the length to the middle of my back) and I cut bc I heard short hair looks better on long faces (it is now about shoulder length) I dont notice a difference in my face shape but it was good to get it cut because it updated my look a little so I would recommend a cut if you know exaclty what style you want and its worth the money to go to a good salon bc they will talk to you and give you ideas.

Don't let your hair get to long because it will make your face look longer and don't part your hair in the middle. Wear a style that is about shoulder length or shorter and par tit on the side.

i have a long face too and from all the hairstyles i've tried, just plainly leaving it down looked best. personally i think a persons face would look more narrower if they have long hair so i dont think its a bad idea to trim your hair a bit. try not to cover too much of the side of your face too. also, having bangs make your face look smaller not shorter but that really depends on your face structure because some people look better without bangs.

just remember the only difference between a good haircut and a bad one is 2 weeks, but make sure not to cut off too much, long hair is so in now!!

Layer the hair starting from the chin to about 15cm longer than chin. This will bring out the shape of face nicely without too much emphasis

Layers are so pretty i think i didnt have anything to do with my hair either so i wanted something different but not cut all off so i got mine layered and got lots of compliments. Good luck and layers really look good with highlights i think.

Simple...
1. Cut your hair... Make it too short. Such a apple cut or whatever.
2. If you don't like too short, make it layers.
Why?
Simply because to emphasize your face to be round.

You should probably get it trimmed and layered, with a side fringe (fringe swept to the side that blends in with layers)...so its still long enough to get it cut again, but its not too short. short hair=long face (in my opinion). also, if you can get your hairdresser to 'shape' it to your face, it looks great on anyone.

Wear it down, curl it to make it poofy, or put it behind my ears down. Long face and short hair makes the face look longer.
