Coconut hair is great for hair WITH VOLUME and thickness...Its a natural way to keep the frizz down...etc...But not for ur problem. Take it from someone with extremely long hair. It will not help thin or thinning hair...Mine went through a stage like that due to all the stuff I put it through.... If you are using hairspray, gel, mouse and all of the gunk try to give ur hair a break. Don't wash ur hair more than 2-3 times a week or color it more than 2 a year if even that.. Don't use heat (blow dryer or anything)-it will definitely thin out ur hair follicles.Try and limit the amount of brushing also. Your hair will be much better off and will have time to heal...good luck-if u have any question feel free to send me an email

The following vitamins help in healthy hair growth.

Vitamin B: Certain experiments were conducted with rats and they were fed with food that lacked magnesium supplements. It was found that they lost their hair in bunches and when they were provided with a low biotin diet they turned hairless. But to the surprise of all, their hair returned when they were fed with food rich in Vitamin B. Similar studies were conducted on men and it was found that Vitamin B enriches the quality of hair. The body also requires Vitamin A. Fatty acids such as primrose oil, flaxseed oil or salmon oil need to be consumed for enhancing hair growth.

Vitamin E is meant for stimulating the oxygen intake in the body and improves the blood circulation. If there is proper blood circulation, hair growth is enhanced. Vitamin C assists the normal functioning of capillaries that carries the blood to the scalp. Even zinc is an important supplement, which should be consumed as it assists hair growth.

Biotin is necessary for hair growth. There are many sources of biotin such as brewer's yeast, brown rice, bulgur, green peas, lentils, oats, soybeans, sunflower seeds, and walnuts. It is present in some shampoos, so you can use shampoos, which contain biotin. It is advised to consult a physician before taking any vitamins or medications for hair growth.

Proper diet will result in thick hair.

Take care!

if your hair is falling out theres probably not alot you can do about that. if its just thin hair you can try using a shampoo that is a clarifier. some are gentle enough to use everyday. it will strip your hair of build up and make it fluffier.
you can also use a gel, blow dry and scrunch your hair to make it alot fuller. also shorter hair is easier to make fuller. the thin area on top can be back combed or teased.
hope this helps

I'm guessing this is a girl. I would defiantly use a voluming shampoo. I personally recommend Aussie. Also... don't forget about conditioner. It repairs things that we do daily like blow-drying, putting hair in a pony tail, or straightening it. Right after you get out of the shower please don't comb your hair, it is vary vulnerable.

Try a shampoo with thickening elements like Paul Mitchell Lemon Sage or Garnier Fructis. You could also try a thickening lotion, Redken makes the best one available.
