I went out with this guy to a concert. I am a coworker of his, and now I am trying to figure out if it was a date or not. I paid for my own ticket, but he picked me up, and offered to buy me drinks. He waited outside and watched for me to get into the house. We haven't let anyone at work know that we went out together so we haven't gotten to talk much about it at the risk of letting the cat out of the bag. He said recently that someone asked him if he had had a "hot date" and that was why he was so tired the next morning... I cannot figure out if he really likes me or if he is simply getting to know me better.. If it was just friendly then why hasnt he let onto anyone else at work that we hung out??

You guys may not be allowed to date co workers, some places have policys against that, and because what happens after you break up...or, he may not be sure how you feel, have you talked to him about it, maybe he just wants you as a friend, or not, the best thing to do is ask him out for lunch, make sure others see you two leave together...then ask him how he feels, and tell him how you feel about him... then take it from there, but try to set some ground rules in case you don't work out, about how you two will be at work after dating....

In the old days I would have said if he didn't pay for your ticket, he's not into you. But this is 2006. A lot of guys think the woman should pay for things too.
I suggest you ask him how he views your relationship, without making too much of it. Just to clear the air and make sure there are no misunderstandings.
