I don't attend church because I'm not a Christian, and in my religion, we don't have "churches". We do though, commune with deity. We celebrate, we worship. We live and learn.
Church ins't necessary to have communion with deity in my religion.

I have a dissolving hip and walk with a cane...there is too much standing and singing, causes great pain after 15 minutes or so... when I would sit because of it, I invariably would get scornful or bad looks from someone...so I worship at home and watch a service on tv. That way I don't have to be apologizing or explaining to someone all the time for something that's not my fault.

My beliefs do not come up to what is acceptable in the church.. so I think I would be a hypocrite to go when I do not believe. They respond poorly to agnostics among them..

Because there are people who spell "church" as "chirch" at church.

my reason is because I always feel too guilty when I go and completely out of place when I'm there.
