As an MD, it is very difficult for a non-MD ( or even an MD) to 'just put symptoms in" and try to match up a disease. It is even difficult for MD's who have accesss to many different web based/ medical literature to just use a Website or book without having an idea what the disease is (most text books are organized by diseases, not by 'symptoms)
(its like trying to find a word in the dictionary without knowing the spelling)

There are consumer based health web sites such as WebMD and Medscape (or you could just "google the symptoms" and see what happens.

if you can't wait to go to the MD, go to the ER or if it is life threatening- otherwise- you could try to dscribe the symptoms on "Yahoo Answere' and a nice MD like myself could "point you in the right direction".

Hope this is helpful- goodluck

go to webmd.com

and on the right of the page there is a woman and man's body. Pick your gender and answer questions.

It's a symptom finder or something named like that.
