If we are going to teach 'creation science' as an alternative to evolution, then we should also teach the stork theory as an alternative to biological reproduction. [Judith Hayes]

Yes, I think thats funny and accurate. People try to say that "all sides" should be represented in the classroom, but what they really mean is only Christianity and science, and only in science class.

One of my favorites is a cartoon of a teacher wheeling out a "globe" thats just a flat map with a ship sailing off the edge. The caption reads "Now that we've finished covering Intelligent Design, its time for Intelligent Geography."

VERY funny!

If we're going to start in with teaching creation stories in science class, I'm going to be spearheading a letter-writing campaign to have ALL creation stories presented as "alternatives".

(Well, maybe not all; some might be a little too racy for the young'uns.)

Hopefully, that will stop this utter silliness.

It's a great analogy of the situation. And I agree, if creation "science" ends up being politically forced into schools then I can see all other religions wanting theirs' in there too.

I doubt the stork would agree to creating anything but I bet he would go with Creation!

Hey, are you that missing link we've been waiting to see proof of all these years like morphing somewhere between ape and man?? Sorry but I had to ask! God is good to allow you to reject Him as your Creator you know? "I'm no kin to the monkey no, no, no, The monkey's no kin to me, I don't know about your ancestors but mine didn't swing from a tree"
