i had the same problem. just keep it as moisturized as possible. deep condition frequently and keep the conditioner in as long as you can. hehe i have slept with deep conditioner in before and have done household chores while it sits. and also i think it does work good if u keep some kind of plastic over it like a shower cap, deep conditioning cap, or even a random plastic bag. L'Oreal has great deep conditioning products but they are pretty pricey. For a very affordable and amazing deep conditioner check out some conditioner called "bone marrow" at your local beauty store. it runs about 8 dollars. also doing hot oil treatments, like V05 that helps a lot too.

go get ur bad ends cut off too and still do all this treatment. dry hair needs it!!

for a normal shampoo and conditioner i have been using Frederic Fekkai (olive oil shampoo and conditioner) which hydrates my hair soooo good and gives it more oil it needs.

one more thing! leave in conditioner! i love bed heads leave in conditioner i just apply after i am done washing my hair even if i already conditioned it and just throughout the day.

good luck!!

I do too. Long layers works really well if you want to keep your hair long. As for the frizziness, the best product I used so far is Relaxing Hair Balm from Phyto. You can get it from http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P2895&categoryId=C13320. Just a little bit goes a long way. Start from the ends of the hair when it's damp and blow dry. If you want to keep the curls, use a diffuser attatchment with your hair drier. To straighten use a paddle brush while you blow dry. One of the best hair driers I've ever used is the T3 which you can also purchase at http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P85231&categoryId=C11244. It helps to lock in moisture and lock out humidity that causes frizziness.

Try a deep conditioner such as cholesterol deep conditioner
Let it sit on hair for about an hour under a plastic cap. Rinse well and style as usual. Also a good trim will help.
