if you got the number off your caller id, do a reverse phone lookup on whitepages.com

you can get the list of all the STD codes from the Directory search on the BSNL website. www.bsnl.co.in. However from what you have given it seems that this call has been originated from a reliance cell phone. the 91 denotes India's ISD code and 93 is the start of the reliance cell number.

Joshi is right and i have received the balance three numbers which indicate the area etc. the next three digits are 955 and there is not STD code starting as 9. I have sought some clarifications from indian cellular association and let us see!!

this site gives the codes of various operators and it appears that it has not been updated.

I used that website http://www.echeck.pcti-system.com .. the one referenced by that detective guy Ronnie. I found exactly what I was looking for. So much for Mr Right, or rather Mr Convicted Felon with 2 Liens against him totaling over 30,000$ and an ex-wife I never knew about!! Thank God I found out the truth before it was too late. We were almost engaged!!
