Late spring/early summer

Wedding season could be referred to as June-September when a lot of people get married BUUT technically wedding season would be right after the new year. This is because it takes approximately 3-6 months to order wedding dressing, custom items, etc. That is the time the year's majority of brides are looking to buy. You will see tons of bridal expos from January to March for this reason.

Typically in the days of old (times of our grandmother), June was THE MONTH. But nowadays it has become a fad to have them in Springtime. Personally if it were up to me to decide (to do it over again) I would want mine in late autumn when it starts to get cooler and the trees are in bright fall colors, it would make a lovely outdoor photo shoot.

I was married in early March but basically it's up to you and whatever you prefer. I would rather do what I like than to do what is popular and then later regret it that I didn't follow my first instincts.

Here is a lovely line to an old fashioned song (to the 1950's musical, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers)...
'They say when you marry in June, your a bride all your life...' I just love this phrase and if I had a June wedding I would have a nice orchestra play this song because it's so upbeat and was written for brides in love. I would also make this line my wedding theme and go with a classic formal 50's style galla, if I had the money for it. Check it out, it really would be a perfect wedding song and idea. Rent the movie sometime and you'll fall in love with it.

Opening day: the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend. It's (unofficially) the wedding season. Thousands of couples across the country will walk down the aisle between now and September, June being the most popular month.

I am getting married 7-7-7. Have been reading quite a few articles in the paper lately about weddings and they have all said that July is the most popular month to marry then June. July is the most booked month for all of next year.
