I'm in a group of 10 girls (but also have other friends outside this group) and yes I'm closer to some more than others, but I love having girl friends because they are much easier to relate too on you know, a feminine/teenage girl level. I have a few guy friends, and I like having less guy friends because then, when you're frustrated about something that maybe your friends wouldn't understand (like talking about my brothers for instance) it's nice to have a guy's point of view. And only to have a few is nice because then you have that close relationship.

if the guy and i have been best friends for a long time then i would feel awkward if we had anything going on. but thats a different story now personally i like being friends with a guy first before going out with him because you might find more interesting things in him and at the same time the not-interesting things. so that your more sure of what you want before going out. it'll be a plus if he was cute too!

A) if i thought he was cute and had a crush on him, i would be tickled with delight at the prospect of my crush liking me. I would flirt back and perhaps something would come out of it.
B) if i weren't interested, i would try to find out if he did like me, and set the record straight that i didn't feel the same way towards him.
C) If i thought he was cute but wasn't interested...that's a tough one. I'd probably flirt back, but if things got too serious, i'd end it before any hearts were broken.

A) doesn't matter if he's cute or not, depends on the personality and his degrees of humor, sensitivity, etc...anyway if he's showing signs that he liked me while at the same time i liked him i'd try to see if he was serious or just being flirty (btw guy friends make the best bf's because they already know all your faults and everything you like, granted you may be risking a good friendship but w/out risking it you'll always wonder what might have been)
B) Just go on acting oblivious to his flirtations, if he brings up the subject just comment on how awesome of a friend he is etc...

A) If I thought he was cute, I would be excited. I would, however, be a bit concerned that if things didn't work out that it would ruin our friendship.
B) If I wasn't interested, I would attempt to let him down easy, I wouldn't want to hurt him or strain our relationship, boyfriends come and go, but a true friend isn't something that comes along every day.

I dated a good bit of my guy friends... and I wihs I hadny because they were great just being a friend.
a) IF i THOUGHT HE WAS CUTE i think i would try to look pass it because being cute does not mean a thing if the person has a horrible personality.
b) if I was not interested I would find the best way to explain to him why I wouldnt want to advance in to a relationship.
or if i couldnt i think id avoid him for a little while until everthing cooled off.

If I thought he was cute I would try to get the courage up and talk to him about it.
If I was not interested, I would do the same and hopefully find a nice way to tell him I'm not interested but be able to keep the friendship.

Honestly, if you friend said that she found you cute, she might go into 2 directions
1. give you a chance and flirt with you as you are cute or
2. she's saying you are cute but not her type.
Now you have to see if she is flirting with you. Some girls like to play with you for no reason though, so be careful.

A) If I thought he was cute? Well, if he's my friend then I guess that would be a bonus...unless he doesn't really like me that way then nevermind....lol
B) If I was not interested? I'd be honest flat-out. I'd let him down with "You're my friend, but I don't want anything more to ruin this relationship" then trat him to whatever he wants to do...if it doesn't involve sex of course...

Well I've had that happen to me a few times and even if I felt that I liked him back...I just felt like I could not do ANYTHING with him not matter how much I was feeling to him...the friendship will probably work better than the dating thing in the long run and it's going to ruin everything you guys had before anyway. Don't try it.
Good luck with whatever happens! ^_^
