he thinks we're risking eternity, anyway. I'm not fully converted yet, so he is not allowed to consider me for marriage, and also our church is against dating. He says he can't be around me because of tempatations and not wanting to fall into sin...but my love for him is so intense, I don't care if we do go to Hell...how could God send us to Hell just for loving each other?

This sounds like some freaky cult not to be insulting but wow. You aren't going to go to hell for dating. You aren't going to go to hell for considering someone for marriage if they are not fully converted (what the heck are you converting into?) As long as you do not have pre-marital sex then you have no worries of going to hell. And even then our lord is a very forgiving lord and he will never stop loving you no matter what you do.

The short answer is, of course, God doesn't send anybody to Hell for loving someone.

Read your Bible, though, and consider if what you're thinking of breaks a commandment, or doesn't honor God's word. Also, if you love this guy, you have to respect his choices, even those you don't agree with. If he feels that being with you would go against his beliefs, then you have to respect that and stay away, because that is a part of love.

God does not send people to hell for loving one another. He made you to love. But marriage is God's way to join two people together, mentally, physically and spiritually. He wants you to be happy for a life time, not just for the few minutes or so that it takes to have sex. Sex without marriage may feel good physically...but you will never know really great sex unless you have God's blessing on the union. Its a lot more than just two body parts hooking up. Good luck and God Bless you.

God doesn't send people to hell for loving each other. Perhaps it's what your church is feeding you (not literally).

Here's a suggestion: try visiting a different church out of state when you get the chance and talk to a different pastor. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but I believe the church that you are attending is putting a veil in front of your eyes. You need that removed.

Cheers~

Love is great. But after marriage when the consequences of sex can be faced legally. If a married couple find out that they're pregnant, its usually good news but if an unmarried couple find out that they're pregnant...its a huge problem! If you love him, talk to him and get to know him, wait till you're fully converted and then marry him. Its easier to think that you'll risk eternity for him but you shouldn't risk his eternity too...stay at a distance till you can solidify your relationship and remember loves comes from living with each other (after marriage) and finding out if all the quirks in their personailty make it harder or easier to love him/her.

No!!!!

I'm sorry your families have led you to such a restrictive religion.. When you get older, you'll realize that there are MANY more ways of thinking than that which you've grown up with!

Be reassured, though, you are not wrong to love, just take it slow. Rushing into a physical relationship (aka: sex) can get you into a whole new set of problems.

Dedicate yourselves to each other, and as you grow older, you can find a way to make it work!

Best of luck, love can be so hard!

Origonal Sin my sweet,
The Fall in the garden, the fruit of the kowledge of good and evil, was it literal? If so, why didn't Adam and Eve cover their hands? Instead they covered their private parts.
The Fall was due to forniction.

I don't know how old you are,but first off why doesn't he convert to your religion???? you love him so deeply....does he love you enough to convert to your religion??? I don't know about all of gods rules but I know I'll probably go to h- - - for some of the things I did in the army. It would seem kinda sad too see you two there for dating. Get the point??

well me being a christian i understand what youre saying and this doesn't sound like a crush anymore, if I was you I'd speak to a priest or someone who has studyed the bible, are you both from different religions? I won't say get over it cause that's easier said than done. But talk to different people, get their opinion. I hope everything works out.

either live with his beliefs and respect them or find some one else. the big question is can you live that life still of such a strict religion. If he can't control his temptation then he has the problem. How do you get to know some one you are going to marry if you don't spend time together.

PS there is no heaven or hell when you die you die there is nothing more.
