I have a slight wave in my hair, and I also like my hair curly sometimes and wavy sometimes. You may have to spend some $$, but get a perm. So when you want your hair curly just put in some mouse or styling gel and crunch your hair while its wet. If you want it str8 then blowdry your hair, till dry or let air dry, then brush it out with a brush and use a big curling iron to and just start at the root of your hair in sections and slowly pull down and then curl on the ends. And your right when you straighten it does tend to be frizzy. At walmart they have this oil like spray its in a clear small bottle with pink and black lettering, I can not remember the name but a few spritz's of this around your hair will tame the friz.

For the curly hair, you can try using a curling shampoo. Frizz Ease makes one that is wonderful, and it takes majority of the frizz out of your hair. When your hair is wet, put some curling cream in it and curl it around either your finger or a pencil, and let your hair air dry. This makes for beautiful curls and you're only out about $8.

For straightning, I found a heat activated straighting cream at Sally Hansens. Put this through your hair and blow dry it, then take a straightener to it. There will be no curl or frizz to your hair.

well if you dont want to waste too much money then i suggest you to just stick to your straightening/curling iron. i know this isnt what you wanted to hear but if someday you decide you want to loose the irons, go to a korean or japanese beauty salon and ask for "magic straight perm". this perm makes your hair extremely pin straight and im not lying it makes your hair look & feel REALLY smooth 24/7. after you get out of the shower you don't even have to touch your hair and by the time your hair dries, it will stay straight all by itself. this perm lasts for about 2 years.

Try buying some hair products to make your hair curly or straight. It will be easy to use and wont take much time at all.

Get your hair permed straight.

As for frizz, put a anti frizz cream in your hair and use anti frizz shampoo and conditioner.
