there are so many different meaning for dreams. some people believe that it is your brains way of figuring things out. others believe it has to do with what you were thinking about right before you go to bed. then there people that believe that they have deeper meanings like you dream about your fears. you dream during REM sleep (rapid eye movement) when your brain is fully functioning but your body is in a somewhat paralyzed state. you can get books that supposibly interpret what your dreams mean but i believe they are your dreams so you are the best one to interpret them. good luck!

There is a book called "The Dictionary Of Dreams" by:Gustavus Hindman Miller.
Whatever you dream, look it up in the book and you may be surprised.
If you don't have access to it, try this: http://www.newagedirectory.com/dream/dictionary.htm

so.
the brain is divided into two sections: concious, subconcious.
the concious part of your brain is the one that you use constantly. its the one you're aware of when a thought goes through your head. its very important..
your subconcious is a part of your brain that deals with movements and thoughts that your concious isn't aware of.
there's no way for your brain to completely shut off, since it is the one organ that controls every other body part in your entire being. if it shut off, you'd die in less than 8 seconds. so when your concious needs to rest from a long day of thinking, the subconcious stays awake and continues processing thoughts you've had from your day. often, since the subconcious is quite creative in most cases, this results in a bizarre sort of dream.
dreams are very normal. matter of fact, the average person (meaning an adult who sleeps 7-8 hours a day) dreams 6-8 different dreams a night.
talk about brain activity!

At first I thought that dream is meaningless may b I was thinking 2much that is why I dream. After sometime what I dream is actually happening, ooops some of it only. What I suggest is dont bother and carry on our duty as usual.

prehistoric people thought that when a person dreams, his or her soul actually leaves her body and goes to wander around and meet other souls ( that's when you see other people). It could then be dangerous to wake someone up suddenly as the soul might not have had the time to return to the body and the person could die.
I don't know if it s true....I just like that explanation...
best of luck with your dreams....

Nothing. Don't read stuff into them. If you dream about some chick you like, it DOESN'T mean anything. She isn't dreaming about you. She's dreaming about losing her car keys.

oh a scientist will tell you it's just neurons firing randomly but too many people have dreams that relate to real life..
I like the other answer..your brain knows that it is fake, so it gets to work out things when your body can't react to it.
