been with my bf for 6 yrs and have a 4 yr old, he asked me to marry him like 3 yrs ago actually it was a verble agreement since I was preg. but here we are 3 yrs later and still no ring, should I be upset? need advice plz.

that is so not fair! he asked you to marry him, and 3 yrs later..... no ring! I would be very upset!!!

Well if you love him then I think that your love for him is more important than a ring even though it is the most important ring you can ever get but still wait for a little while longer maybe there are some reasons he can't/won't buy the ring. HOPE I HELPED!!

well partially yes because you should be married than have a kid. yes i probably would be upset. but maybe he isnt ready for that commitment yet. even though you have a kid and he is still your bf, you should probably not rush him. you know they say you should date a guy for 4 - 11 years!! but anyway, he probably isnt ready about the commitment and is deciding still of what to do. you can maybe, bring up the idea a bit or get one of his friends to maybe ask him for you of what he thinks of doing about marriage of you and him to find out what he thinks about it. im pretty sure you will get an answer there.

or casually bring up how u want to spend the rest of ur life with him
OR if ur relatioship is pretty staight forward....just ask him =)
I would be upset too...but i'd just ask...sadly i wear the pants in the relationship most the time lol...i lke the control =)

So you agreed to get married but you haven't?
He's probably just as confused as you are. He may think that you've pretty much forgotten about the whole thing and he doesn't want to be the one to bring it up.
My advice would be ... bring it up!
Tell him that you've been together for years now and you're basically one big happy family with your child and all that's missing is the white dress. :)

well it all depends, did he ask you are was it just a ok we will get married kinda thing. well just talk to him about it. tell him how you feel.

you should take your child and move on. why should he marry you if you clearly show he doesn't have to??
