I had the same problem, but i found that by seperating your hair into four sections, place some gloss or serum in each section, but only right before you do that section and straighten. The gloss helps the iron glide easier which saves time and also gives a a great shine and straighter look.

practise makes perfect, and a really fast heating hair straightner.
I have been straighting my hair since i was like 15 i am now 20 and i can straighten my hair faster then a hair dresser and I can do it better - meaning its softer, shiner and thinner looking and does not frizzy as easy. it takes me 30mins to do my hair, and its thick, curley , goes half way down my back and gets bad frizz, a hair dresser will take 1 hour or more to do my hair and it is never as good as the job i do.
always wash your hair before starting, let your hair dry naturally, start with the bottom layer going up. I dont do it infront of a mirror for some reason it turns out better when im just doing it while i watch tv or listening to music.
use a straighting iron that has alot of heating plate, not one of those small ones.

Part dry hair into a few sections, spray each section with hairspray then straighten with flat iron. If your hair is naturally pretty straight or just slightly wavy don't straighten root to tip, just do the last few inches. After that brush hair then apply some moisturizing, anti-frizz or shine serum throughout but concentrate on the ends. I love Oscar Blandi's Jasmine Oil Hair Serum or BioSilk.

Blow dry with a flat brush. Use any silicone-based balm...like Sebastian Laminates or Sheer Blonde Shine serum. Use ceramic hair straightener. Good Luck!

as long as your hair is healthy and you dont do it often.... I use a clothes iron. Be careful not to get too close to your scalp (I have burned my forehead once or twice), but it straightens quickly. I lay on the floor, brush my hair straight out and iron away. Takes me about 15 min.

best thing you could do is get really good straighteners (ghd's are great)
and also get some straightening oil that you put on when you come out of the shower

Maybe try a staghtener in the morning after you shower and it should manage the rest of the day. (Hopefully!)
