Ok I bought a game through Amazon.com, none of the company's disks didn't work because the origional one didn't work. So I went to Walmart and it worked perfectly.

Now the company has sent a new copy over and they said that I can send everything back to them.

So should I tell them that I bought a copy at Walmart and it works fine or lie to them saying their recent copy didn't work? Suggestions?

They are nice helpful people and I don't want to lie to them.

Also I threw away the defective disk because they replaced it with a new one(it installs but it doesn't run)

wait....you bouhgt a game and it wouldn't install properly, so you bought a dup copy from Walmart and that one is perfect but in the meantime the company sent you a third copy but it too doesn't install properly???

Send everything back to Amazon and never buy from them again as their merchandise is apparently flawed in some format. Have then reimburse the money you sent,...price, shipping and return fees or restocking fees. If you threw the "bad" cd away you will unable to get your money back, so you are a little screwed there, sorry.

if it installs but does not run (and I am not sure what that means) tell them that, and about buying a working copy at Wal-mart and what your operating system is. It might be a bug that they are unaware of in their media. It might be nice to thank them for trying to help.

Honesty is the best policy. You sound like an honest person because if you were a liar, you would not ask for advice. Do the right thing. :-)
