Usually students are hmschooled by a parent. Alot of hmscool cirriculums come from the christian churches. They are good compared to most public schools some of them can be very conseravative as far as life issues. Some of the church familys are great to get books and help as far as what your state educ. dept. requires. The U of Mich. used to ?? have a good cirriculum but was costly.

There are several ways. Most cities have home schooling stores, where you can buy the supplies. Or, you can go online and find a school just for home schooling. Thats what we did.
schooloftommorrow.com or lighthouse.com are excellent! They will send a test to determine the grade level. Then send you suggestions on materials. It is rather expensive, but you can make monthly payments.

how can you get homeschooled? if you're young, ask your parents... and yes, it costs quite a lot--few hundreds USD per grade, the higher the grade the more costly...

what to expect? major case of learning self-discipline, that's all. it's a very, VERY flexible way to study and you can choose your breaks as long as you have a total of 3 mths break per year excluding saturdays and sundays. i've studied at home all my life--really very fun except that you need to socialize, don't forget! :)

gd luck, it's a great experience and i hope you get to try!

You have to have a parent or grandparent teach you. I think you can get the information for it at a local school.
