Be honest, tell them when, where, with who, for how long etc. offer to let them meet your friend if it would make them feel better. If they agree, come home at or before the time they tell you to, that way when you want to hang out with your friend again, they will most likely agree since you followed their rules the first time. good luck.

tell them dont lie. i have tried that and it doesnt work. just tell them the truth and if they dont want just the two of you going get like 5 people to go and make it a groupish thing or double date with a friend(they dont have to know its a double date) either. i think tell them the truth if they dont accecpt it be like well least i told u the truth and didnt lie and you will get points for that and stuff. hope it works out!
