There is so much anger in here and judging....I have fallen into it, but I try to stay out of it the best I can.

When will it be enough?? Most people are too bull headed to listen to an idea outside their beliefs.....so are we all just wasting alot of time??

Athiests, do you really think you will talk a Christian out of believeing? Christians, do you think judging athiests helps their perception of Christians?

What is this accomplishing???

When people can just be good people, not for their God and not for a reward, but when we are all just nice to each other because it feels good then it will stop. Like you said, you can't change the minds of those who believe or disbelieve something different than you. You can only accept people for who they are, and respect them for how they live. If you are a good person then it doesn't matter if you go to church or not, if you believe in God or not, it only matters that you treat others with respect, regardless of their beliefs. When the world learns to practice acceptance and stop judging, then and only then will all this futile bickering end.

As a Christian I am called to be Christ-like. Jesus Himself reached out to sinners in hopes of saving them. I must do the same. His word says that we are to go into all the world and preach the gospel. I can't sit back in silence just because I'm afraid I will offend someone or I'm afraid of stepping on toes. I don't see what I do as "bickering" at all. I see it as informing. We never know why the atheists are on here. Obviously they don't believe in religion or God yet the dwell in this forum. I believe they are looking for answers that only we as Christians can give them. Even if they refute you a seed has been planted. That's all we are to do. God will do the rest.

Luke 8 (NIV)
4While a large crowd was gathering and people were coming to Jesus from town after town, he told this parable: 5"A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds of the air ate it up. 6Some fell on rock, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture. 7Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the plants. 8Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown."
When he said this, he called out, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."

Bottom line....we may never know HERE what this is accomplishing but God promises that His Word will not return void. We will see on the other side what our faithfulness has accomplished.

If all the people who believe in God could understand that there is one God who has many names ie; Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. That your God is my God that when we pray to God we are all praying to the same Supreme Being, that we are all His sons and daughters. That you are my brother or sister. Then we could get off the Religious platform on to the spiritual platform. We are not these bodies ie; Race, color, nationality, religion jobs etc. We are spirit souls part and parcel of the Supreme Soul. IT is really elementary but people due to pride make it so complicated. And as for the atheists we love them also as the above and that they just have no experience of God yet or they are only covered by illusion and it is only a matter of time either this lifetime or another that they will discover their maker.

If a faith doesn't keep your spirit holy inside your soul, its blind faith leading your true essences onto the second death, the death of a unclean spirit that was not holy before the white throne judgment of the twenty four controllers over all that is and all that was and all that is to come.Take all that is good and holy and righteous out of all the faiths and come to live in that one belief. It is so simple,I GIVE THE TRUTH ,FOR NO ONE KNOWS THE TRUTH,BEING GOD IS A MYSTERY TO YOU ALL,NOT TO A ANGEL COMING FROM OUT OF THE HOLY KINGDOM ABOVE ALL KINGDOMS .The holy truth is 180 ways I give ONTO YOU to become blessed and a clean spirit made white .After you read the 180 reasons why you cursed and are no longer alive in spirit.GO TO SUMMIT ITS THERE

Of course there is very little hope for Christian insanity ever becoming cured for a spiritually enlightened world but the a few years ago many atheist were in the closet and now the future is looking bright and true....patience is a non- believers virtue.

Neither side is accomplishing anything. I just wish we got along because we are all human. If a person has a sincere question than it needs to answered sincerely. If a person has a rude or hateful question than pass it up and go to the next question.

Yeah, this is getting to be a really nasty room. I do wish the Christians could limit their preaching and haranguing to a few sentences and other folks could keep their slurs and epithets at least down to no more than one per "question." It Is interesting to find out how people feel!

Keep faith out of Geo-politics and mainstream education. Don't try to moralise to people or affect the running of government on religious and moral grounds. Don't take away the right of people to marry and love who they choose. Don't spread disinformation and lies about evolutionary science and try to teach creationism in schools. That would be a good start to ending the bickering

Luk 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

if they won't believe if someone rises from the dead then i have no chance of helping the. i think the solution is trying to find truth and keeping an open mind. its not good to attack someone beliefs. shouldn't we all be free to think what we want. otherwise why would we be given free will.

I think the solution is to first of all respect the other person even if you don't agree with them. Be willing to admit when the other person has a point. Have compassion on people from all religions and religious viewpoints.
