MY HAIR WAS BLEACHED AT THE ROOTS THEN DARKENED THEN HIGHLIGHTED REPEATEDLY BY A PROFESSIONAL. IT WAS OK UNTIL I DYED IT RED AND THEN SHE TURNED IT BROWN AND THEN HIGHLIGHTED IT. I WAS PUT UNDER A DRYER WITH BLEACH ON PIECES OF MY HAIR. WHEN IT WAS BRUSHED OUT IT CAME OUT BY CHUNKS. MOST OF IT HAS GROWN BACK, BUT THE LEFT SIDE OF MY HEAD IS THIN. I HAVE A REAL BAD SPOT WHERE MY PART IS. ITS LIKE A MAN WITH A RECEDING HAIR LINE. I AM ABLE TO HIDE IT, BUT I KNOW IT IS THERE. I HAVE HEARD THAT MANE N TAIL WILL AID IN HAIR GROWTH. MY HAIR IS BLEACHED AT THE ROOTS AND THEN A LIGHT COLOR IS PUT ALL OVER. I NEED TO BE CAREFUL. ANY ADVICE????

An interesting fact about Vitamin B: Certain experiments were conducted with rats and they were fed with food that lacked magnesium supplements. It was found that they lost their hair in bunches and when they were provided with a low biotin diet they turned hairless. But to the surprise of all, their hair returned when they were fed with food rich in Vitamin B. Similar studies were conducted on men and it was found that Vitamin B enriches the quality of hair. The body also requires Vitamin A. Fatty acids such as primrose oil, flaxseed oil or salmon oil need to be consumed for enhancing hair growth.

Vitamin E is meant for stimulating the oxygen intake in the body and improves the blood circulation. If there is proper blood circulation, hair growth is enhanced. Vitamin C assists the normal functioning of capillaries that carries the blood to the scalp. Even zinc is an important supplement, which should be consumed as it assists hair growth.

Biotin is necessary for hair growth. There are many sources of biotin such as brewer's yeast, brown rice, bulgur, green peas, lentils, oats, soybeans, sunflower seeds, and walnuts. It is present in some shampoos, so you can use shampoos, which contain biotin. It is advised to consult a physician before taking any vitamins or medications for hair growth.

1.Massage the scalp for 10 to 15 minutes after bathing with water. This stimulates the blood circulation and strengthens the hair follicles in the scalp.

2.Massage the scalp and hair with coconut milk or Aloe Vera gel. Leave it for ½ hour, then rinse with warm water. Repeat 3 times a week

3.Massage into the scalp and hair honey with egg yolk. Leave for a 1/2 hour, then rinse.

4.Massage almond oil on scalp 2-3 times a day, daily. This will stop further hair loss.

5.Rinse hair with a mix of apple cider vinegar and sage tea to help hair grow.

Take care!

my hair used to be a lot like this - very dry from straightening and bleach over the years, what you are using at the moment is good and will help but you really need to stop straightening your hair as this is causing the most damage and it will never grow if you carry on, it is also important to not wash your hair every day as this rids it of natural oils which help keep the hair in great condition and to grow properly do try to wash it less as much as possible try dry shampoo if you feel your hair gets greasy quickly. It really will help like i say my hair went from being beautifully thick and long to short and damaged from bleach and hot tools but its started to grow now so keep it up and it will get back to normal. Also have regular trims.

Stop processing your hair. YOu should allow maybe 6 weeks after bleaching or dying your hair so it can relax and regain it's health. SO next time take it slow and wait a little before processing your hair again.
In order to regrow your hair you should STop processing it. Then massage your head everyday lik ewhen your in the shower. Oh and try using Wella In-Depth Treatment. YOu can find it at sally's beauty supply. I have really course dry hair and after dying it I needed something that would help it not be so dry and the lady at the salon said to use this treatment. I use it as a conditioner in the shower. It works wonders. Ok well good luck with your hair. i hope i helped
