Good question! To give and demand nothing is Love. It does not keep the record of mistakes. Love is unconditional. It is not selective. It is like rain, treats both good and the bad ,rich and the poor in the same way
You feel esteem when you love. That wonderful feeling you can get when you love. Nothing else can match it.

i am sure lots of people have different opinions of what love is because there are so many different types..the silly grin of a child after they just did something they knew was wrong but know you will still love them anyhow, the way a new puppy feels in your arms and while licking your face, how you wished you had told your parents more how much you appreciated them as you make their funeral arrangements, how much you love the best friend you just married and will spend the rest of your life with, how you feel when your girl friend always is there to help you when you need it and vice versa..a call from an old friend you haven't heard from in ages when you are having a bad day, the simple joy of a child's artwork in crayon...and much, much more

My Grandfather used to say "Love is a crazy misunderstading between two foolish people." Oh well, he and my Grandmother were married for over 50 years. And any time I have been in love I have felt foolish and crazy....So, maybe he was right.
