Well, some cultures encourage the women to play soccer (football), rugby, track & field, even rougher sports. What about Trinidad? If you go to a gym, do you find many athletic type women? Or, is it 99% guys?

It's not that different from N America. In school, physical education was mandatory. We played field hockey, netball, volleyball, cricket, soccer, etc. Swimming and track were also encouraged. Some people (both men and women) would keep up with sports, others not really.

I noticed lately that a lot more women are working out in gyms in T&T, but most would prefer all-women's facility.

Are you trying to pick up a Trini woman, Crazy Eagle? You are kicks, man.

Umm well I am from Trinidad and half my girlfriends are always involved in sports and the gym, like myself. The other half, yeah right!! They go to see sports being played for the guys. So I would say it's half and half.
