I would tell your parents as soon as possible, as a matter of fact you should tell them right after you read my answer. What you are doing is not healthy to your body. If your body goes with food for a certain period of time, then you will find food disgusting and it will often become hard if not impossible to eat, even if you are starving. You only went for food for 3 days, just imaginge if you don't eat for 10-15 days, its going to be a lot harder to eat food. People that are anorexic often need intense theropy, so they could eat the foods they once did. Many people that go through theropy often struggle with eating even just a piece of lettuce. If you tell them right now then later, it may be easier to eat the food you once did. There are other things that can happen to you. Your stomachs fluids can burn a whole through your stomach. I know what its called, but have no idea how to spell it, but trust me, its very very painful. Its when your stomach chews its only linning. You will have no evergy to do anything becouse food creates energy. You will also be more likely to get viruses and diseases becouse your body will not have the proper netrition that it should have. Another reason why this is bad, becouse when you are able to eat again your going to gain more weight then you were to begin with, if not double the weight. Your body does this to protect you from starving yourself again, so it stores the food. Its amazing how the body works to protect itself. The worst case senerial that if it goes on long enough, you will end up dying. Im not trying to be mean, im just giving you the facts you need to know. This is a serious that may require professinal help. I hope the best for you.

you should definitely tell someone very soon. I'm sure people around you are already noticing some changes in your eating habits but are unsure as to how they can approach you about it. Eating disorders are very serious and can cause a lot of health problems down the road that you probably haven't thought of. Just try to talk to someone you trust, who can help you to get some help dealing with this. If you feel uncomfortable telling your parents right away, try a good teacher, friend, your family doctor...there's always help. My best friend was the same way and luckily she had a good support network and made it through. And, remember, there's nothing wrong with asking for help. In fact, it's very admirable. Sometimes eating disorders start from a feeling that we have no control in some other area of our lives and what we eat is easily controlled. Try to figure out (with some helpful guidance) what is causing this and how you can get back to your healthy self! Good luck. Remember, you are a beautiful, strong person.

You should tell your parents. I'm 5'5 1/2 too. 118 or 124 is not over weight. Start eating. Have a nice Thanksgiving

hey u're really brave to face this problem and not be in denial. i think it is a good idea to tell ur parents, because they can help u overcome this! just think about some questions like are u unhappy with ur body? and u might think ur fatter than u actually are. these are some signs of anorexia. if u stop eating, u could really damage ur body and this could have consiquences for the future (for example, u may not be able to have children)
Good luck in getting sorted! remember, food is a wonderful thing, learn to enjoy it!

Your weight was NOT overweight when you weighed 124#. If you don't think you can get the anorexia under control then you need to tell your parents now. Anorexia can cause serious health problems and even death. You need to get help now before something serious happens.

life, swetie, is not all about how we look. it is about who we are. If you allow the way you look to define who you are, you'll go down fast as your body will not stand for starvation. Please read literature on whathappens to your precious body when it is starved. If you alsofind that others judje you by the way you look, then they are shallow and not worthy to be called friend or foe. Such people should just be ignored.
Tell your parents as soon as possible as they will be the ones who will have to deal with you when you collapse and has to be taken to hospital for intravenous treatment.
I've been anorexic myself when I was at school and will not forget the concern and anguish I caused my family by my sick obsession to look like Twiggy.
There ismore to life than being boney and thin, much much more.
Anorexia ia a lonely disease -it devours you. Rather maintain healthy eating habits than starving yourself to death. It may look like fun now, but believe me it is evil in nature and only has your destrcution in mind.

Yes.You are ruining your health. You teeth will loosen, rot, and fall out. Your bones will get weak and brittle; your hair will begin to fall out, and you will look like a little old lady before you hit 20. Once this disease gets a hold of you, you will be in and out of treatment centers. Get help now while you can get better quickly. If you can't talk to your parents, talk to your counselor or another adult.

Honey....please talk to your parents about this! It can be so seriuos and - if you think about it - a car cannot run on no fuel....eventually it will "die" and so will you if you keep that up. You surely are NOT overwieght!! PLEAZZZZZZZZEEEE eat something yummy on Thanksgiving (better yet - eat something yummy right now) Don't hide this...parents can be more helpful and understanding than you think sometimes.

Please don't try to 'cover' your feelings or actions of not eating. Yes! Do talk to your parents. What you are doing is not healthy. You sound like the 118 is on the thin side for you. So please ask your parents to help you to help yourself by seeing a professional. Good luck.

stop being anorexic. it will do you no good it might even cause adverse effects in your body. your weight loss is only temporary, probably due to water loss.
You seemed to have a self-image problem. If you really cannot deal with this problem yourself, it is best to talk to someone who can help you.
