I have met this guy on the internet and we have some kind of connection going on.We have been exchanging emails and chatting for over a month. i'll lay in bed thinking of him and then i will receive an email saying he was thinking of me. Can someone tell me what this connection is? It seems so strong..

i had that. but then i met him. and i was very disappointed. i was really bummed out. i don't know if i could do the internet thing again. i don't think it's a good way to find a serious "love connection"

Exchange phone numbers.
If talking on the phone leads to even more intense feelings, maybe meet in public for a coffee date (assuming you are in the same city, or at least near each other).
I've met lots of guys online, and my current boyfriend through craigslist. I've still friends with all the exes from those online relationships too.
Give it a shot. Online does not equal bad all the time.

That's what's going on with me too. For excactly 14 weeks and a day. I knew we had a strong connection after about 5 days. I can't stop thinking about him. So it is possible to have a love connection.

neediness? no seriously, it could be real, but I'm sure I don't need to remind you that the internet isn't always the safest place to meet people. You could be thinking you're talking to the man/woman of your dreams and they are the exact opposite. Be careful. That said, a guy I used to work with met his wife in a Christian chatroom. They are perfect for each other. Good luck!

I agree with one of those other girls' comments....i met someone and chatted with them and thought we had a great connection or whatever it was,but then i met him and i was dissapointed. It wasn't all the physical aspect, but it kinda was....like,that spark you need when you're with someone,it just wasn't there in person. It seemed awkward. But everyone's different,so it could work for you.

Let what happens on the internet remain in your fantasy world. You don't really know who or what this guy is do you? I have some great realationships with my internet partners but have never purposefully met one.

maybe its love? but i think that before you take another step..you should try to meet up with him if hes in the same area as you are.....because online relationships dont work out so well.

U can find love on the net..but don't spend so much time "dreaming" of him..MEET FIRST then if there is "spark" you're "good to go!"
