My longterm bf is hard to buy for, since he usually buys things for himself as soon as he decides he wants it. So what do I get him for Xmas? To get and idea of what he likes (he's 35): he likes to play video games (has lots of them, but really only plays occasionally), loves to watch movies, likes to go sledding, loves guns, likes to work out (in theory lol) and is always researching and taking vitamins and stuff, likes to read, loves to snuggle and hang out with me (but who wouldn't ;) loves to travel (we are going to texas in december), hates his job and this remote northern town that we live in......
Anyway, he has been talking about getting himself a new gun for a long time, and I'd love to surprise him with that, but I am not legally able to buy a gun! So I need another good idea, please help!

This may sound cheesy, but maybe you could splurge for a nice piece of art for his (or "your" if you live together) home. It's something that is always beautiful to look at, a great conversation piece, and lasts forever! Since you know his taste, just stop by a gallery sometime and see if anything leaps out at you!
