Original sin and damnation are concepts of "Religion" which are created by man. There are many different spiritual groups who condemn and disbelieve in many of the religious teachings in present and past society.

Take for instance "Deism" ...The only "Truth" that a deist knows is that we were created by a loving God who wants us to behave morally and respect other humans regardless of race, culture, background etc.

A Diest respects God too much to believe in any one religeon. So many religeons....so many diverse beliefs! Who knows which is true? There are many beautiful teachings in all religeons, however, I believe that each human has the ability to look for the "truth" within themselves.

No a person cannot have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ without humbly admitting that they are sinners in need of forgiveness. Christ gave his life on the cross so that we would not have to pay for our sins. To say that we are without sin is making a mockery of what He did for us. It is rejecting his offer to bring us back into good standing with God.
Romans 3:23 All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Chris our Lord.

yes and many do. It is one of Satans key strategees to teach he does not exist but even if one falls for this obvious lie as long as they continue to grow in their relationship to God then this as well as other truthes will be shown to them when it becomes necessary or when they are ready. One need not ever even know anything about hell or damnation to decide to love God and express their desire to be His friend. One problem is when such a person becomes justified and reconciled then they become a target of the evil one so if you assist such a one to become a child of God whatever else you do warn them, and tell them of all the ways to stay strong because the devil likes nothing better than to devour these innocent ones..

You can if that's what you believe God is about and what he wants.

My personal belief is as you stated, however I am always more than happy to debate( not argue) with others of different views.

Talk to someone you respect that's a Christian and ask them why they believe what they do. Maybe that will give you a better insight. True Christians will be glad to talk with you and help you make an informed decision.

I believe that one can have a one-sided relationship with God if he or she rejects original sin and damnation.

"Original sin and Damnation" are religious control words. They have nothing to do with the God force of the Universe.

The concept of "God" is whatever you make it to be. People seem to think that God is defined, when in actuality, the relationship you have with "Him" is exclusively yours, and you can reject or accept anything that you believe is right.

You are a child of God, so you already have a 'relationship'.

You will be judged for your sins, not Adam's transgression. If you have faith in Jesus Christ and repent of those sins you may be forgiven.

Rejecting what someone tells you isn't a very good foundation for a relationship.
