not really adjustable,you can turn the distributor but the computer will compansate for it.

For jeep with auto trans, I think its 1-5-3-2-4

I also have a ninety six jeep cherokee that grew to become into having an analogous issue,I did the music up and it grew to become into superb for some days then it started happening back.i ended up changing my cps(crank place sensor)And havent had a issue for the reason that.The sensor is located on the applicable left hand part of the transmission.
