How long do you think it will take for the illegals (especially the high number of Mexicans illegals) to turn the USA into a filthy garbage littered, crime infested, drug riddled, poverty stricken etc etc etc nation like Mexico is currently.

I think it will take about 20 years, maybe 30 years if "Da' Guvamint" raises our taxes up out of sight to pay for the ongoing clean-up that is needed.

You obviously are aware of the added costs of health care, education, law enforcement, social work, and welfare.

Actually your remark is full of holes, First, Mexico and Untied States never really had border controls till the late 1920s and migrants came and went as they pleased, and did for quite a while until 1954. When Ike got a call from Mateo complaining he had no workers for the growing Mexican economy. Ike and others started a poorly thought out plan called. "Operation ******* it deported 4 million people." Quite a few of these people are naturalized American citizens, and few years after those couple million were deported they returned. Each time we tightened up the border the less likely they will return home because the journey home is more dangerous. America always had thugs and gansgters in thier history the Irish and Germans, Italains were fighting over booze and girls, and then the Mexicans, Russian fight over the vices market. USA is stronger because we allowed immigration. Only 10% of the American population is British decent and the nativist should look at thier family tree. Find out thier be Native America blood mixed in with German, Polish or what other combo.
Were the Americas , ""Not Europe"", for good reason were the mixed match Western Hesmpishere all over. Mexico is no different than the United States in some ways both have egos when it comes to National Pride. Both treat thier the downtrodden with disdian, and both will pass the buck of responbility and accountiblity to the other person. Chickens and Coyote game been played way before 911 or communism.

I really hope your comment is sarchastic. First of all, do you know anything about Mexico? Have you ever been on the border even on the Texas side? The boundaries of what is considered the nation state have eroded as a result of neo liberal polices. Capital tears down barriers and annihilates time and space. What I am trying to say is, do you not think there aren't fortressed surban enclaves in Mexico? Is there not poverty in the United States. If you were intelligent you might investigate the processes that create poverty on a global scale. This Mexican poverty is not independent of U.S. wealth or U.S. poverty. If you think Mexico city is 'dirty', look to L.A., which is also extremely congested. What does drug riddled and povery stricken mean. Is there practical space for these terms, or did you just hear them on Fox news? Also, do you think immigrants cause poverty? Persons entering the country have little to do with the redistribition of wealth. Yes, immigrants come here for a reason. There is an impetus to come to this country. Agencies or corporate indentities in some way or form effectively recruit these people at the most intimate scales. The national governments of the United States and Mexico encourage this migration in overt and subvert ways. Immigration just has become another issue that has made enemies between the working classes. Do you think, the dude sitting in his Master planned community, gated, 20 miles away from a person of color could give two shits about immigration. No, it is again, how neo-liberalist politicians have gained consent in this country. As more and more breaks are given to corporate identies transnationals or multinationals, the welfare state is increasingly receding. So what does this mean, less benefits for all, regardless of your citizenship status. So the media owned by dudes like Rupert Murdoch, who have a very high stake in all of this tell you that immigrants are taking your jobs and making your life miserable, but when in reality it is those who own the means of production who are doing it. I would like to introduce a term here. That is reserve army. Union membership and living wages have been spit on percisely because there is this surplus population. In times of economic boom capitalists need this surplus labor, but when the economy bursts, which it always does and will do these persons are sent out of the social, out of citizenship. Now we have two groups who make up a large percentage of the working age population, the unemployed and the underemployed. The underemployed are forced to work below their skill level for unlivable wages. They cannot ask for rights, becasue there is this reserve army waiting to take their employment. They are not scabs, or miscreants, but instead are formulating survival stragies to stave off death until the next economic boom.

So you see my friend, you have a lot of learning to do...

i dont believe that mexicans will"turn the USA into a filthy garbage littered, crime infested, drug riddled, poverty stricken etc etc etc nation like Mexico is currently" mexico had a corrupt government and crime happens because of poverty. people are born int that type of lifestyle in mexico. but not all of mexico is poor. there are beautiful cities that are full of tradition, money, and history. You also have to realize that the US is a nation made up of immigration. I believe that the us should maintain and establish a better way to deal with immigration. not only with mexico but all immigrants. I am only the third generation in america and i am proud of my culture. i am Mexican, Puerto Rican, and german but raised into the mexican tradition. everyone should be considered equal and able to have a fair chance of a better life.

I have to admit that is looking a little bit like mexico in some neighborhoods, but it's not just illegals that are doing the damage everyone is involved in this. Your confusing politics with what is going on all over the world and it's not because of illegal immigration. As i remember reading in a passage in an american history book, George Washington "the father of this country", said that this was a land of immigrants. And back then everyone came illegally including your ancestors.

We can not blame all of our dysfunctional society's problems on immigration. That is the same over-generalization and racist mentality that has damaged this country for so long. People that feel powerless often blame someone weaker for their problems. Do I think criminals and terrorists should be able to just walk into this country? No. Do I think there are many hard working people that could be contributing to the society? Yes. We need to find reasonable alternatives to the way things are now. One of the things we should do is pressure Mexico to clean up their country and improve life for their people so they won't suffer such crushing poverty that coming illegally to America to scrub toilets or mow lawns is a better option. Finally, I just really wonder about people with no compassion for people that are different.

no human being that i comprehend helps unlawful immigration. i comprehend many, which includes myself, who see the human aspect in unlawful immigration. There are possibility free children who've no say contained in the remember. there is determined proverty that forces human beings to objective to live to inform the tale, and grasping corporation proprietors and contracters who take advantage of them. Then there is the placement of mixed immigration status. it truly is, you've a US citizen who's married to an unlawful alien, who mutually have US citizen children. Is it humane to deport the only service of this family contributors? Is it perfect to deport father and mother even as their children are in college, therefore effectively growing to be orphans? You communicate as if there is an basic answer to the placement, even as surely it really is amazingly complicated... a techniques too complicated to communicate right here in some sentences. you're pointing out the glaring. of direction, persons desirous to immigrate to the united states should be screened for ailments and criminal heritage. i don't think of those who sympathize with the plight of undocumented extraterrestrial beings are pointing out otherwise.

Here's a question for you, Why would someone(you) who so obviously hates Mexicans and Mexico so much, go their to retire?! One would think that if you are retiring at such a young age it is because you can pretty much afford to go anywhere you want, so why would you go to the one place you hate the most and then talk as much s**t about that country and it's people as you can muster up?! Can you spell H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E?!

The same ol bull, illegals this illegals that.

There a lotta illegals who are criminals, but there are also a lot of them who are honest and decent people.

Every group have good people and bad people. There are white criminals, black criminals, asian criminals, hispanic criminals, etc. But because of that you cant categorize the whole ethnic group as criminals.
