I'm not aware that a comedian came up with the term. It's used quite frequently in the anthropology field. Vuja de happens when you enter a situation you've been in a thousand times before, but with the sense of being there for the first time. Bob Sutton....or Sulton, I can't remember his last name, (from stanford) was the first I had heard of the word entirely.
