My bf says he loves me and I believe it. But I always wind up waiting around alone for him, because he has time for everything but me. Why is this?? What can I do??

I have talked to him about it... and he says he knows he is wrong and he is sorry... again and again.

What you do is stop waiting. Are you waiting for him to call....stop sitting by the phone...go to the mall...out with friends...walk the dog...DON'T wait by the phone. Are you waiting for him to pick you up for a date? If he is more than 15 minutes late without calling to say he's running late...leave...go to the mall...out with friends...walk the dog. OK...so he gets mad..but he will get the hint.. He will start learning to pick you up ON TIME...or call when he says he will. .....He treats you like this because YOU LET HIM. Teach him to respect you.

He may love you but he doesn't respect you. You can't make him do anything that he doesn't want to do. Nor would you want to. What good is it if he's doing it under protest instead of free-hearted? You have to look deep within yourself and see if you want to be in a relationship with someone that treats you this poorly.

the thing bout those three words is that they are said too often but not meant enough. he is saying it cos he feels he should or cos it keeps you happy. he may genuinely feel it, but when he says it, chances are is cos he feels he should. its not just you boyfriend, thats how most guys are. just cos he loves you, he feels as though he doesnt have to spend every minute with you. he is just a normal guy.

You can tell him that you're feel neglected and you don't think he's being very considerate of your feelings. He SAYS he loves you, but he's certainly not showing it. If he doesn't think you're enough of a priority to make time for you ... do you think it's really a balanced relationship? :S

Talk to him about how you feel. you want a man in your life that has time for you. It should be a two way thing.

He is using you. Find someone else and if he says he will change, tell him it's to late. He won't change and life is to short. Good luck.
