I think that is too harsh for your skin and you may be doing more damage than good. I would recommend going back to 3 times a week and making sure you have a good cleanser that isn't too strong and a great moisterizer. It will take time, but if you are consistent, you will see results.

HI. The reason your acne med is drying our your skin is because you probably have sensitive skin. You really need to try a heavy moisturizer.
Also there is a reason that they tell you not to use the micro dermabrasian (m-d) every day. It actually sheds the outer layer of your skin.(the epidermis) exposing the second layer of skin (the dermis) This is what makes your skin so smooth- your dead skin is gone. But the problem is you have to let your body replenish itself. For the safest choice see a dermatologist.

I would recommend using it 1-2 times a week and make sure to moisturize after. Also don't scrub too hard when you do it, use gentle circular motions. I have a feeling this will work much better and not be as harsh on your skin. Give it a try.

yes, MircoDerm should be used 2-3 times a week at most. The reason your skin is probably flakey is because you don't moisturize correctly. Microderm is only going to harm your skin if you continue daily use. Cleanse and Moisturize 2x daily.

You don't want to use is everyday, because its cleaning dead skin cells off your face it will dry your skin out a little. If you are using it everyday you are just drying your face out even more...You should use a moisturizer to prevent flaky dried skin...

Considering that your skin is starting a new cycle of cells every 28 days, and you should exfoliate every 14...
I'd say YES!
All you are doing is cutting and ripping the newer cells just below the strateum corneum layer. Which leaves your skin (which is supposed to be protecting you) vulnerable to infection and disease.

do't use it everyday...you are killing the new skin that is trying to grow...you will turn your skin black..like a giant scab...that is why you are getting flakey skin....lay off for a while...do what it says.... you need a moisturizer...a good one...just because your skin is smooth for make up application...when it dries up...it will be flakey again. I love mt MDB...and use it accordingly....and have never had any problems...only the first time i got it...becaue i used it everyday...just like you....

I think that is too much stress for your skin, especially as you are also using the acne meds. Just use microdermbrasion once a week or twice at the most. HTH : )
