At the beginning of the month of December. Most people don't mind if they get cards too early. Maybe the second week? Also, the post office normally has flyers stating how soon things must be mailed to be guarenteed for Christmas.

In the area where I live, unless everyone posts their Christmas cards before the week end(Nov.24th) no one here will receive anything at Christmas through the Royal Mail. The postal staff have threatened an all-out strike for December, and it looks as though it is now certain. Silly Postman Pat and his friends ! I bet they won`t be getting a Christmas "tip" from their regulars this year.

i have witnessed over the years that the main stream of cards are recieved mid-week in the first week of December. As December arrives thats when everyone gets into the swing of being festive so 3 days after the initial 'Christmas is Upon Us' hype is very sufficient. Hope this helps.

Any time between Dec 7 and 16. It is best to write them out before December, then all you do is stamp them and post them when the time comes.
PS: You can also use Yahoo Greetings' range of e-cards to those with e-mail addresses, this saves some postage with physical cards.

Most post offices will give you the deadlines for both domestic and international Christmas mailings. I personally have already started to get the Cards out....better early than late!

I would post Them between the 3rd-8th December, given that the postal service isn't exactly reliable on their post system. It'll also give you a bit of breathing space with any last minute forgotten cards.

It depends where u live. I live in kenya and we sent cards out the beginning of december and a lot of them arrived in march/april. If you live somewhere with a good postal service then probably early december and if they are being sent out of the country then maybe a bit earlier.

I say right after Thanksgiving. I've worked in offices and schools. After Thanksgiving is when people I've worked with suggested we take out Christmas decorations.
