I've tried many but haven't found a REALLY good one.

Any suggestions ?

If you've tried many recipes, then you can figure out the quantities, but I love mine made with chicken stock also because you can then use it for the rich gravy you're making :) The secret ingredients are sour cream and garlic (roasted or not, depending on preference). Use lots of butter and add cream or broth to texture. Pepper, of course and salt to taste tho not much will be needed, if any. Absolutely delicious :)

I add sour cream to my mashed potatoes and it gives them a wonderful new taste!
Chives are great to add to the sour cream....
Another great thing to spiff up your mashed potatoes is dip....
Just stir in your favorite dip!

6 TB milk
1 tb butter

I like to cook my potatoes in chicken stock, love to leave the skins on...and I love garlic in them.

I make them the way my great grandmother made them.....With canned milk, butter, salt and pepper. They are rich and creamy. To die for.
