See if you can find a car the has maintenance records. That would be the most important.

When I was younger, I bought a Plymouth Reliant from a Government auction and it was great. I saved 50% on the car and had a good reliable car for years!

Anyway, here are the resources. Good luck!

That should be enough. Again, good luck!

Any auction is selling the car "as is". There won't be anyone to ask questions to. What you need to do is bring someone who is knowledgeable about cars and can physically look the car over. Auctions are not like car dealers, there won't be a record of repairs or who previously owned it or receipts. People are confused these aren't police vehicles, these are cars impounded from criminals.

I would be VERY careful if buying a police car. Police cars have VERY high mileage on them because they sometimes are driven 24 hrs a day. They are driven by different drivers.

Many police cars have been wrecked because of the nature of their duty.

Check the miles. Ask about the service record. Ask about accidents. Good luck. Pops

ask how much meth was found in the car, if'n they were "cookin'"in the backseat then i doubt you wanna put your kids back there.if'n it is a police car, then every crook that rode back there could be trying to ditch his stash
