Of course I see what is going on. Turn on the news, walk outside, if you live in a big city, travel on public transportation. We see scriptures being fulfilled signifying that we are indeed living in the last days.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 says, "But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. [v2] For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, [v3] having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, [v4] betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, [v5] having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.

Wait until the governments turn on false religion. That would really be on target (Read Revelation chapters 17 and 18 about that process) The wild beast represents the governments and the harlot represents false religion.

Look for even more prophecies to be fulfilled. It just goes to show you that "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial." (2 Timothy 3:16) Not some fairy tale or farce as many people call it, but true.

The End of Days have been coming "soon" for 2,000 years. People 1,000 years ago were certain that they would live to see the End of Time. People 100 years ago, too.

Since you're just as certain as those people were, what makes you so special that you're right, and they were wrong?

Now, specifically regarding "prophecies"... Events are easy to predict once they've all ready happened. You simply look back over Revelation and find a brief passage that has a vague reference you can shoe-horn into a recent event.

If you can provice a specific event and time that something *will* happen in the future based on a biblical "prophesy" you might have something. Until then, you're no more right than the 100-year-ago preacher who preached the same thing.

Does anybody NOT see that Nostradamus was right on with the way things are going?

Does anybody NOT see that Edgar Cayce was right on with the way things are going right now?

Does anybody NOT see that the Mayan Calendar is accurately predicting the end of time?

Did anybody NOT see that the end of the world was coming at the end of the first millenium AD?

There have been many prophets and countless interpreters. One can look at signs anywhere and correlate them to the world as we see it right now. Even in the Bible though, Jesus said you wouldn't know the day or the hour. Anyone who claims to is a charlatain. Christians have been trying since apostolic days... his very apostles believed that the end was immanent. Some were even disillusioned at that time.

Not being a Christian, I'm not particularly worried about it. The end could be right around the corner; a comet could wipe out most of life on Earth nearly anytime. A volcano could send us plumetting into another Ice age, or Iran could start a nuclear war.

Are any of these thing somethig I have control over? Nope. What I do have control over is me. Am I living the sort of life that my religion demands of me? Am I treating my neighbors, sisters and brothers the way they ought to be treated? Am I selflessly generous? Am I kind without expecting kindness in return? St. Francis, a Christian saint said it best in his prayer. If I am living that life, then whatever happens to the world is inconsequential. Should it last or should it fail, I know for certain that I am the person I was meant to be.

Praise the Lord. Another individual who has seen the light. There is no question that Biblical prophecies about the end of this age are coming to fruition before our very eyes. Cashless society, increasing hatred towards and persecution of Christians and Jews alike, all over the world. Kingdom against kingdom - country against country- and nation against nation -nationality/race against nationality/race. The invention and detonation of nuclear weapons, the rise of satanism and other occult religions such as witchcraft. There are literally hundreds of prophecies coming true today. The Bible has always been 100 percent accurate, 100 percent of the time regarding its prophecies and now is no different. The rise of humanism and the New Age Movement and the rapid spread of the evolution lie; all of the aforementioned items and more were all prophesied by the Bible for the end of this age. I hope everyone is ready for what is yet to come. You can actually read a newspaper and cross reference it with the book of Revelation and other end time prophecies.

The bible is a fictional writing created by the catholic church in the 4th century to control the masses. It has no prophecies. The church threw out most of the manuscripts that the bible was supposed to be based on, and changed 2/3rds of the ones it did use to write the bible. That's the truth, whether you like it or not.

Christians have been saying that for 2000 years, even John wrote in the very first verse of chapter one of Revelation, that the things he wrote MUST SOON COME TO PASS.

Even the author of the book of Hebrews in chapter one verse 2 says that in THESE LAST DAYS GOD SPOKE TO US THROUGH HIS SON.

So it is not surprising that people are claiming the end is near, it has been proclaimed to be near by Christians for 2000 years.

History teaches that every generation of Christians swore that Jesus would come and the world would be destroyed in THEIR lifetime.

All you have to do is read the New Testament through from Mathew to Revelation and you will find that even the writers thought Jesus would come in their lifetime. You would think if God was the author he would have told them that the world would stand for at least 2000 years so his writers would not look silly by claiming those were the last days.

I am sure that 2000 years from today the Christians will still be saying the end is near. Just carrying on a christian tradition started by the apostles and first century Christians.

What do you think the people who lived during WWI and WWII thought? Even worse, look at the plague (the most horrible and depressing event in human history) and those people had more evidence for being in the end days. People have been seeing the signs for the end days for millenia and the fact is that people will still see the 'signs' for the end days millions of years from now.

Sorry, I don't read the Bible, and why don't you explain to all of us where does it mention the End Days in the Bible? and also tell us the comparison you see of the Biblical translation of today's future of End days. Because I am not sure what you mean End Days is near.

each generation since 0 A.D. has said it was living in the very last days with all of the signs and prophecies. The New Testament also says that IT was the last days.

The Christian Bible, I take it, you are referring to.

People have been saying the end of time is upon us since the time of Paul.

There are those Jews who say the year 6000 will be the end of time (Jewish calendar is now at year 5767).

I have heard Muslims say the end of time is upon us, too.....was given a date, but forget it.

However, I do not take this as a serious situation. That is, unless we blow each other up. And, that is not religious. That is politics.
