Offensive questions,Do you ignore,thumbs down,report,or answer in retaliation?

what kind of offensive questions? if they are so dumb that a 5 year old could answer then i dont even bother , but if it is something tottaly nasty against my belief , you better believe I will answer

i try not to use the report user function. i believe that everyone has their right to speech.
i only report threats and spam.

as for offensive. that is a really broad term. and what offends one person may not offend ht vast majority of others.
too many people here ust the report user function as a way to fight ideas that they do not like. the same can be said for the thumbs up and thumbs down rating system.

it is very disapointing to me when i see the question that is asked at least one time a week. "what is your religion?" and that question usually gets around 30 answers. to see that most of them regardless of their religion will have an average of 3 thumbs down for saying

"i am Catholic,
or " I am Pagan"
or i am Muslim"

talk about judgeing a book by it's cover.

if a question is just stupid I ignore, if it is calculatedly being used to waste peoples time thumbs down. If it maliciously attacks a group other than my own I report. If it is a malicious slur on any group (with the possible exception of war mongers) I report go to the persons site see if this is a pattern and report all the violations. none of this is in retaliation I think it is a teaching of the intollerance of intollerance. Intollerance is the one thing that should not be tollerated so now you know so violate me all of you who think being intollerant is cute

I would give it a thumbs down. If it is ugly or offensive to everyone, you don't have to worry, it will be deleted. If it is just offensive to you, remember everyone has an opinion, yours is the only one that matters to you, so state it, you have taken a stand for what you believe in and feel good about that.

That depends on the question. If it is really stupid and a waste of time, I ignore it. If it is really stupid and offensive, "Thumbs down". The really, really rank ones get reported.

Dumb, funny questions get answered in rebuttal. Questions about the FSM fall into this category. They are fun to be silly on!

It depends of the extent of offence. If it hurts many people in general and question is stupid i report it. If the question does not hurt many but only me ( my community), i just dont care reporting or giving thumbs down, because i know truth regarding my community and gets satisfied with feeling that asker is very stupid. If the question is non-sense, i give thumbs down.

I like the offensive questions, they are way more fun and they really bring out peoples true colors...or at least the most colorful parts of a person.
It always amazes me the extent people get irritated.
Most, if not all of the offensive questions are posed to get a reaction and the reactions are way more interesting than the question.
I especially like it when people quote parts of the bible by book and number.
The fact that people rule their lives with the Bible to the extent they do, like an owners Manuel to get to heaven is really interesting.
I say keep the questions coming, all of them!

Depends on the level of offense.

If it's bothersome enough, I'll report it, then give it a thumbs down, and answer in retaliation.
