haha so i'm gonna use this chance to tell you my awesomly rad story about this english guy who was so awesome!! he is my new hero!!
so, i'm president of the french club and we organized a bake sale in front of the local grocery store to raise money to go towards the memorial fund of a french club member who passed away. anyways, there was this couple, and an english guy who was just amazed at our bake sale. my favorite line ever? "this bake sale, it is just so totally american!" "this is something the americans would do, it is so american" with his awesome accent. and he took our picture! awesome!
so phrases:
bloody hell
cheerio
tally-ho
what the devil? (not from family guy, i've heard it elsewhere as well)

During the build-up of American troops and materiel in England just prior to D-Day, June 6, 1944, the Allied invasion of Festung Europa by way of the Normandy beaches, the British often referred to the American troops, mostly affectionately but not entirely, by saying that "They are overpaid, oversexed, and over here!"

I believe you: i discover it incredibly stressful while human beings many times insert "D'you recognize what I propose?" into their communique. it oftentimes finally ends up sounding like "D'you recognize Amin?" at which element, I on occasion respond: "nicely, I used to have a chum observed as Amin, yet he's died."
