perhaps both...

cindy sheehan comes to mind as an example to fit this description.

certainly a victim, being forced to outlive her son. yet most definitely a psycho...following the president everywhere...spewing hate and intolerance.

victims? yes.. but their way of dealing with their victimization is wrong.. being dumped is a part of life. these people need to move on.

stalking someone won't solve anything. they are indeed psychos in a sense.. they have a psychological problem that makes them do irrational things.. these people aren't necessarily losers, but they certainly require serious mental help.

nobody in their right mind would "stalk" someone they say they truly love..

I think it is the latter. I have no sympathy because I have had to deal with several men who turned out to be psychotic stalkers and they have caused me nothing but stress and fear. They should move on and obviously there is more than an "obsession" when they start to say things like they want to kill you and if they can't have you no one can. (That's my situation) And it is truly scary and no one should have to be put through that situation.

I don't consider them victims because they CHOOSE to stalk. THey are control freaks who obsess over people they can not have. They are dangerous. I had a stalker one time. She tried to ruin my life. Run from them.

either or, neither nor. both in other words. if the are going through a hard time (like a break up) then vitims. but just to stalk is psychotic. either way they should see a doctor

Victims, and victims need treatment.

They're also psychos though.
