So German submarines won't be able to use coastal cities as landmarks to navigate and sink our shipping. Seriously it's along the same lines, it's the thought or motive, basically propaganda, that you are making a conscientous effort to make the world a better place. And if no one is in there, they really don't need to be on. As long as it is warm using modern energy saver lightbulbs is the way to go. Besides this way we'll have more energy for all our outdoor Christmas lights :P

So many drops make an ocean - so every drop is important. Just imagine how much energy is wasted due to this.
To make electricity for us so many people are displaced from their land and home and they suffer for us. Just think if we waste energy which we need for other productive activities more people will be displaced to fill the gap of demand and supply.
When we waste energy we are harming our environment and nature.
Remember every penny saved is a penny earned so every little bit of energy saved will surely go a long way in totality.

Well it depends on the light ball but just leaving a light on for a couple hours isn't that big a deal but leaving it on for hours every day can add up to leaving it on for days straight then that could start costing you more on a monthly basis.
