There is this girl who cancelled a date with me this past weekend....I was kind of pissed off, but now I want to give it one last try. What do you think of this......What if I jokingly accuse her of being mean, and then tell her that since she broke my heart and rejected me, she has to make it up to me by taking me somewhere? I''d be really sarcastic about the breaking my heart part....I know she'd laugh, since she has my kind of sense of humor....

I would leave out the part about rejecting you - you don't want to plant any ideas in her head. If she rejected you, she is not likely to want to make anything up to you by taking you out.

I think you're on the right track though, by handling it in a joking, jovial, light-hearted manner. If you approach it in a more serious way, it might make her uncomfortable.

Good luck!

If you are serious about the relationship, playing with her feelings will only get you booted out. Try touching her heart and tell her you were really disappointed that she had to cancell, and that you would like another shot at it.

That will get you more points. Trust me.

You can say that to her, so she knows that you like to make her laugh and be happy. She must've have a good reason to cancelled out on you. Don't woory too much. She might've been nervous if that was your first time meeting. Don't take it too personal. Girls like funny guys so try to make her laugh =)

It all depends on why she broke the date and if this was the first one. If her reasons are a little vague and it was a first date, I would move on. The crystal ball says she isn't that interested.

if this girl broke the date, she's not interested. and you cannot accuse her of anything b/c you guys have nothing to begin with. If you want to try again, ask her out again and see her reaction this time.

That would most likely make her feel bad, but if she has your sense of humor it might just work. Do you really like this girl or are you just trying to get in her pants?

It sounds like you want to be open and honest--so be just that. but be aware that she might not be open and honest with you. this is an observation due to the fact that she broke your date without explanation? girls can be fickle and too often assume that their "man" should know what she wants. she has to know that it is never the case. never leave anyone hanging.
