My husband generally deep fries ours but they are good roasted in the oven. If I plan to roast one I rub it down with olive oil and spinkle with some Lawry's Poultry seasoning. Tastes great.

deep frying a turkey leg is good but if u want 2 cook the entire turkey, roast it

I usually smoke ours. It takes a lot longer but the meat is moist and falls off the bone.
You can roast a turkey and come out with a very nice dinner too. Nothing wrong with it.

Deep fried injected with creole butter marinade. This is very good but be very careful with the hot oil..do your research on the aspect of deep frying a turkey. And above all do not fry it indoors or on a covered patio. Be careful and enjoy..

IN A TURKEY BAG, STAYS MOIST, TAKES LESS TIME TO BAKE, YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING TO IT, LIKE BASTING IT ALL OF THE TIME. I'VE USED THEM FOR YEARS. GOOD LUCK. YOU GET THEM IN THE STORE, USUALLY A BLUE BOX.
