I tried tomatoes first and though it worked ok though it wasn't much fun. Can any fruits be good, like pineapple maybe? What will be fun things to dehydrate (edible preferably)?

That's a great idea M. It will work but it will take longer under clouds. What you could do is ask the people who are selling the dehydrator or just try it out this summer. Sorry I can't give you a definite answer. Also if you like fruits then maybe after you graduate you could move to a tropical country where the weather is mostly pleasant and fruits are available most of the time. That's a goal of mine anyway. Good luck.

Bananas. Yummy. Banana chips are excellent, and they store well.
