I have one indoor female cat. She is very large and has an attitude. I also take care of two stray outdoor cats that have been becoming more friendly to me than my house cat. They sleep on the front porch of my apartment. I've noticed that when ever I touch a male cat, my indoor female cat becomes evil and aggressive. He will hiss , growl and attack me. She tries to scratch my legs and makes the most evil sounds. Its getting cold out and I despirately want to let my outdoor kitties come in but one of them is a male and my indoor cat wont stand for it. How can I get my kitties out of the cold? Help me please.

Your indoor cat probably feels very threatened by the outdoor strays. My cat used to give me a little nick and nibble on my ankles as if to tell me "STAY AWAY FROM STRANGE KITTIES!" when i was in a similar situation as yours a year ago. I solved the problem by creating a warm spot for the outdoor cats in my patio (just a baby carriage which I would warm up using coke bottles filled with hot water). On freezing nights, I'd take the stray cats in, contain them in one of the bathrooms (with a litter box) and keep my indoor cat confined to my bedroom. In time, my indoor cat got accustomed to the smell of the other cats and as he realized that they were no threat to him, he simply ignored their presence. The important thing is to keep the two sets of cats away from one another... at least NEVER in the same room until you can trust them to behave. Also, make sure that the strays have nothing contagious that your indoor cat might catch ... your FIRST commitment is to your indoor cat's safety. If you are not sure, then just create a place in your patio which the outsoor cats could use against the cold. You can use big cardboard boxes stuffed with old blankets - the styrofoam suggestion in one of the answers sound like that will work.

Is your indoor cat spayed? Also, if you have a spare bedroom/bathroom, you can bring the outdoor cats inside and put them in there (to prevent harm between them and your indoor cat).
Otherwise, you can make your porch more inviting to the outside cats. Maybe a small dog house or another form of shelter from the wind & rain.

Buy a cheap styrofoam cooler.
Turn it upside down.
Cut a small arch for a door.
Place it some where out of the rain.
You don't want water coming up thru the bottom.
You can put a few baby blankets in it.
Our stray out doors kitties sleep warn as toast.
Make sure the door is just small enough for the cat.
That way no unwelcome visitors.

I think your indoor cat must be jealous of the outside ones and I think the best thing for it is to show her all the attention when the others come inside.

You should have all of your cats de-pawed.
