I'm not sure which is cheaper, but a tubaligation is very painful, and a major surgery for a woman, w/ a man's vasectomy it's an outpatient thing- go in, they snip, go out and he can play golf or whatever in the afternoon! All he might end up needing is an icepack and some advil for a day or two...
GOOD LUCK!

A vasectomy is actually cheaper but very few men are willing to go that route. My husband was horrified and we couldn't afford to have my tubes tied. We opted for a cheaper and more pleasant solution. I now have the 5 year IUD. 99.9% effective. It also regulates your period to a more lighter flow if not eliminating it completely. WHAT A PLUS! We have been together for 6 years and pregnant as many times so we knew we were very fertile together. I've had the IUD for over a year now with not so much as a hint of pregnancy. Check with your OBGYN and good luck.

Vasectomy is cheaper and it's much easier for the man to have that done than it is for a woman to have hers tubes tied.

I don't believe you have to pay for either one. I do know that it's safer for the man to get the vasectomy.
