This is for Christians who have gone to the next level, so to speak. For years I was a "luke-warm" Christian, never "understanding" but still accepting Christ as my Savior. Over the last year, I have begun to grasp that I can really have a personal relationship with God. I can talk to him even when I'm doing the dishes. I feel his presence for the first time really. However, my life is falling apart, temptations everywhere, family picking fights, coworkers picking fights. I even quit my job, couldn't take it anymore. I haven't even talked about God or anything to these people, so I know it has nothing to do with my newfound understanding or verbalizing it to someone who might get annoyed. It's just everyday junk. I assume this is Satan working on me, trying to tempt me, make me say or do something wrong, but man this is hard. Even though I am closer to God, this has been the worst year of my life. Is this normal for Christians to get this bombarded in this stage of belief?

Harmony is harmony.

Disharmony is the only sin against God.

Think about it.

Hardships are part of life. They are, in a way, something that will help you get/remain humble in your newfound depth of relationship with God. It is really easy to fall into pride and arrogance when you "think" you are closer to God than ever before, and to assume that an "easy life" is somehow a "reward" for doing "so well".

Take the time to examine how you are relating to others in your life. Are people really picking on you, or have you become less patient and over sensitive? It can be hard to tell the difference. Maybe it would be a good idea for you to see your pastor, minister, or spiritual mentor(s) about this question. Whatever you do, don't face this alone!

Hi, Tammee
I have been a christian for some time now, and it is hard. When you become a christian that is a REAL CHRISTIAN, you are telling the devil that you are not going to walk with him. The devil wants one-foot-in, one-foot-out saints. When HELL breaks loose in your life that is how you know that you are walking right before God. No matter how bad you peoples may act or your coworkers. THIS IS HOW YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE WALKING UPRIGHT BEFORE GOD! There will be trials, and tribulations but you can't give up and yes, when you give your life to Christ and you do it for real that is when those devils that were on you turn against you. The best thing that you can do right now as being a christian and if you want to have a closer walk with God. Read the bible. Make time for him, don't let the devil steal your joy. It's easy getting saved, it's hard staying saved. The process is you need to keep your name in the book of Life. The main goal is staying in line with God. The devil comes to kill, steal, and to destroy. He will use your loved ones, and anyone that he can to do this. But it is up to you and just like you made up in your mind to follow God all the way, you are going to have to make up in your mind to accept that trials make you grow in the Lord. You can't have a testimony if you have not been through anything. REPENT,PRAY,FAST,PRAISE! This is how I got through my trials and I guarantee this is how you can get through yours. Read the word also. But in order to be a light to someone else, you have to do the complete word of God. You have to stay prayed up and you have to let all the thoughts that you are not saved, and that you are't right, to leave those are demons. These are simply attacks of the devil.

I hope that you find peace and encouragement and that the Lord deliver you from those demons that encompass around you that are in your family and coworkers and that is stopping you. I am a firm believer in doing the word of God. If you have anymore questions are need prayer baby12k@yahoo.com or go to demonbuster.com. This is a website that helps against all demonic forces. I know it sounds kind of stupid, but it does and disregard the music playing. You will get use to it because your mind will be more on the prayers. It worked for me a lot today.
God Bless!

absoultly... Trust me i feel the same exact way... This week everything that can go wrong has gone wrong and if it has not already believe me i no that it will i'm prepared for it... Satan can not stand it he hates the fact that you now have truly found God and you know that there is nothing greater... He will continue to use everything that is in his power to get to you, to make you so mad, and get you so down that you'll just give up on God... But don't let that happen... Say outloud Satan i rebuke you in the name thats above every name in the name of Jesus and things will get better... Satan will flee in the name of Jesus, he is a coward and he knows that he has failed and is a failure... He will tempt you in every way possible... But as long as there is a God in Heaven there is nothing that he can do to ever break the bond that God has... God is ever so mighty... Never give up on God, bind Satan the bIble says that what so ever is bond on this earth shall be bound in heaven also... Meaning that if you bind him from working in your life God wont allow him to use you anymore... Look at the story of Job, God told satan to leave Job alone and he had no choice but to listen because satan still answers to God and he can do nothing with out God allowing it to happen... God knows your heart and your future, and whatever trials you are going through now will only make you stronger, it will only increase the relationship that you have with God... God bless you..

first we shouldn't expect the Christian life to be sugar and spice and everything nice. you still live in the world you know. Satan offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world. how can you offer what you don't have? this world is ruled by Satan. that is why it sucks. that is why systems are designed to punish the innocent and honest. it's too bad you are having family problems but that is life.

remember that life is a test. Job was tested by having his whole family and wealth taken away. even though this happened Job still praised God and he said naked i come into this world and naked i will leave.

life can seem overwelming but just take one step at a time rather than trying to take on everything at once. here is a good verse. it doesn't mean that life will always be smooth. it does mean though that we can find peace in turmoil.

Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Mat 11:30 For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light.

O yes
12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Satan knows that you have reached a new level with Christ and there is a spiritual war waging for you everyday . That is why we must put on the whole armor of God everyday and renew our minds in his word. God will get you throguh this ...trust me ...ask for strength and he will give it to you..all u need is faith and faith comes by hearing the word of God read Hebrews 11...I call it the hall of faith ...be steadfast in prayer and hold on. He is by your side and Jesus died on the cross for EVERY SINGLE struggle you will ever go through. He died for it so you won't have to worry. Leave your worries at the cross. Hope this helped

Sorry your having hard times. Hopefully this will help some.

We are commanded to pray to be delivered from temptation (Matt. 6:13) for the Lord is capable of delivering us from it (2 Pet. 2:9).

Temptation is that which moves us to sin. We can be tempted by our lusts (James 1:13-15), money (1 Tim. 6:9), lack of self examination (Gal. 6:1), and the boastful pride of life (1 John 2:16), to name a few.

Oh yes! Satan is trying to run you done to make you lose faith in God. Satan will try everything to make you fall away, as now you are worth more than before as he would be trying to take what belongs to God. All are Children of God, however, you have to make the decision to belong to him and give yourself to God, which it sounds like you did. Causing you to fall is far more intriguing to Satan now. Stand strong and keep in prayer with God and keep asking for help. If you will ASK and BELIEVE you WILL RECEIVE!! Have Faith and God Bless you!!

You may be having a hard time, but as you grow closer to God, the devil is going to try and pull you away from what you know is true happiness. God may be testing you as well, to see if you'll stay on the right path or astray and turn back to your old ways of living. So, do what's right and continue your journey on the path to eternal life and happiness. In this past year i have definitley undergone the same changes and even left some of my ungodly wordly ways and grown in Christian maturity. Thanks be to god for allowing us to become stronger and to know what is right.

Yes, it is normal. The evil one is a theif and a murderer and a destroyer who prowls about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

"Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 5:6-11

It could be Satan trying to make you bitter, so that God cant work through you to tell others about Jesus. Also God might be trying to draw you closer to him. Spend time with him and in his word. it could be the refiners fire. Try to be an example to those around you that are in turmoil. It says in the Bible in 2 Timothy 3:12, "Yea all that live Godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution". Hang in there. GOD BLESS!
