today was so dreary,
so bad there was no hope for the sun.
and when i saw your pretty face the clouds became undone.
and as i walk around today just looking at the sun
i will always see your pretty face
and think of what you've done.

hope this helps. good luck.

She Walks in Beauty

SHE walks in beauty like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies,
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes;
Thus mellowed to the tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

One ray the more, one shade the less
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress
Or softly lightens o'er her face,
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling place.

And on that cheek and o'er that brow
So soft, so calm yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow
But tell of days in goodness spent
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent.

This one should do it.

She Walks in Beauty by Lord Byron

She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impair'd the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling place.

And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!

Truly the best love poem would be one that you write specifically for her whether it is a literary masterpiece or not. The fact that you took the time to do something just for her will make it the best love poem ever.

I couldn't think of one, but now I am determined after reading some of the answers so here we go...

I long to see you I crave you beauty
Even though its all so new to me
I wait for the dawn when I can see your face
To be able to touch you feel your embrace.
Your smile brightens a room like the rays of the sun Your laugh makes everything so much more fun. I miss you when were apart so much better when we are together There could be no one else in my heart, ever.

**Sorry not all that great...Hard to write for someone still in school- Usually write more intense. hope this helps though***

I will try.
Poem: My sweetheart

Every morning when the birds start to singing
I think in you,my love.
When the oranges clouds appears in the sky
and the sun start to wake up
I think in you my baby,my sweet heart, you put me up

Night and day,day by day my thoughts are you
my all universe are you my love.

All dreams I have every single night is about you
you are in my mind 24 hours and more

I need you,I can not live without you, indeed my love.

your love is my strength, your love is my healthy food
that I taste and delight every day, every second

My sweetheart, I am dying for your love
I need you as clear waters in a river
running down the mountains

I am ready to love you until my heart stop
my sweetheart,my pumpkin pie
my princess,my sweet guava,my apple.
I can not think in anything
but only about you,my baby,my love.

There Must Be a Reason

Call it fate, call it destiny, call it what you will,
But God put us together for a reason
And it is up to you and me to discover what that may be.

Was it to love and be loved?
Was it to learn and to teach?
Was it to share our dreams so that we may begin
Accomplishing those dreams?

Through the years we followed our own separate paths--
Winding twisting turning paths--
Some we skipped down merrily,
Some we crawled on our hands and knees.

Eventually I met you along the way
We shared a path
We walked and talked
We held hands.

One day we stopped,
I looked into your eyes for the first time
And I saw myself...
A reflection of me, deep in your soul.

Now I know
God was trying to tell me something
There must be a reason
Discovering that reason
Will be an adventure of the heart.

i wrote this one a longggg time ago. if you don't like it then whatever. Oh btw you can switch the words around and add "her"

LOVE

As I think of him at night
He's the best of the best and the brightest of the bright
You made me laugh when i talked to you
Those laughs made me feel i could never be blue
Your laugh makes me feel safe and secure.
I swear to myself that I love you.
Of course I can only imagine
how we would be together
You're in my dreams;and you mean everything to me
I love you with all my heart.
I really and truely do.

I crave your mouth, your voice, your hair.
Silent and starving, I prowl through the streets.
Bread does not nourish me, dawn disrupts me, all day
I hunt for the liquid measure of your steps.
