hmm...
Well i cant assume that the suggestion i give you will get you a 7 min. mile time but i recommend that you pace yourself.. its a long run. and try NOT to stop... run in a pace that doesnt get you tired easily and cant make you stop to breathe.. also breathe with your nose.. and never give up. im 13 and i ran a mile time of 8:18
so just try to keep up with ur pace. AND DRINK ALOT of WATER. dont drink water the same day you run the mile or you will get side pains. drink water the day before like about 5 glasses or so so it will keep you hydrated.

Treadmill is the best way to work on time (in my opinion). You can slowly increase your speed over weeks and weeks. But if you are fully committed to getting better mile time, then you will need to run a mile at least 3-4 times a week. If you dont have access to a treadmill but are running on a track or easily measureable distance, trying doing a more relaxed mile (whatever you feel comfortable with) but instead of just doing a mile, do 2.5 or whatever you can accomplish in 25-30 mins. As you progress, you can bring the length of exercise slightly down, to maybe 23-28 mins but slowly increase the speed. But the trick is to make 25-30 mins of running easy. After you've gained the stamina, you just have to slowly push yourself fast. And soon enough, a 7 min mile isnt so bad when you're use to running a couple miles at a time.

You have to run every day and also increase the distance every other day and keep track of the time it takes you to run the same distance. You have to continue at it until it starts hurting and then let up a little. After a few weeks you will find that you can run the same distance much faster than you did when you started.

There is only one way: jog, jog, jog. Try to jog for 1-2miles every day, and make sure you eat well too. You need to get your cardiovascular strength in check and if you jog every day and really work hard at it, you might be able to make a 7min mile.

Practice....also, mixing sprints into practice runs 3 times a week really help....They're called farlick runs. Run for a hundred yards, sprint for 25, run for a hundred yards, sprint for 40.....they SUCK really really bad, but they work really really well.

Through proper nutrition and exercise. If your problem is lack of motivation, you're going to have to find something that will fire you up and push you to surpass your current limits.
*Find a source of motivation
*Set realistic shorterm goals
*Do a lot of sprints and time yourself.
*Do some weight training
*Stop eating junkfood

Run every single day and try to increase your speed each time. Its easier to control this on a tredmill.
