Call DHR and ask them about the age for adoption or you could ask a lawyer. I am from Alabama and my husband and I filed for adoption when I was 21, but we didn't get our son for 3 years. We went DHR and that was a very drawn out process due to having to know all about you, visiting you, checking your background, etc. Good Luck with your adoption and I hope you get a wonderful child like I did.

I'm pretty sure you can get a child, but you are 23 I would be with someone who was closer to my age to have children. Shame on him for not trying. People in Indiana get away with almost everything, so you should be fine, good luck

as far as i know false. It used to be that way but now you can be single and old young just make enough to support a child
