If children will be there, you might consider taking something that would interest them, like a nice Mac and Cheese casserole, or a nice salad that has kid friendly stuff in it like ham, turkey cheese or something like that. You might take a dessert that you have had at your family gatherings that this family may not be familiar with. Adults only, the wine is great or better yet, a nice bottle of Cognac or Bourbon. When you are invited into someone's home, ESPECIALLY for a major holiday, pretty much anything that can be considered part of the feast is appropriate. You probably already know this, but be sure to send a thank you note to the host and hostess letting them know how much you enjoyed being included.

It depends on the type of party. If it's sort of formal, a nice bottle of wine is great. Flowers are a great choice also (but don't forget the vase so the host/hostess doesn't have to worry about that!) A nice box of chocolates is a good idea as well. Is it a party where other guests will be bringing things to share? You could ask your colleague if they need anything, or if anything would be especially "good" to bring. Otherwise, I'm sure you have good enough sense AND taste to select the appropriate item. :) Have fun and happy thanksgiving!

What about make it special this time? Write some thank you cards to your colleagues who you want to thank for, with a few lines of gratitude words would be nice (or with a small gifts). If you feel grateful for the good times that your colleagues have shared with you, yet, sometimes you find it hard to let them know, well, this is a good opportunity to let them all know about it. Afterall, this is a Thanksgiving Party right?

yes a nice bottle of wine. if its a little bit more intimate of a gathering wherein you guys are really close you can bring an apple pie. aside from brining wine you can also bring classic chocolate cake. remember to bring something that you know people will consume and like but also remember that it should be personal or represent you. just make sure you are not bringing like a 25c candy from the grocery store. it should have class.

Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving Forrest Gump Shawshank Redemption i'd serve everyone dry martinies, yeah? Edit; i comprehend, huh! :D I further you as a pal, too.

Wine is usually great, but it does bring up a couple of questions if you don't know them very well--Do they even drink? Are they going to be super-critical of your choice in wine if you do? Will they be offended because someone close to them had problems with alcohol abuse? Wine is a tricky thing to bring. If you aren't very close to them yet, or you don't know if they drink, I would probably suggest flowers--you can't go wrong with flowers, right?

A bottle of wine is always acceptable - there's no need to ask whether or not your host is a drinker. Even if he or she isn't, a good bottle of wine can be shared with others, or they could even choose to re-gift it at one of their other holiday parties!

If they like wine I would say a nice bottle. If no alcohol a bouquet of some seasonal flowers.

Wine would be great or mabe a nice bottle of sparkling grape juice if you are not sure if they are in to alcohol. If guests showed up to my door with it, I'd suprised (in a good sense). It's whatever you feel right. Enjoy your holiday!
